Fish Orbit gameplay

Press to throw on green, then move the reel through the fish.

Press to throw, then steer

Fish Orbit is a throw from the boat, then a reel you steer on the way down. Press the left mouse button or Space to throw. Green on the bar is the strong throw. Yellow is a normal one. Red is a weak one.

Once the hook is in the water, move the mouse to move the reel, or press A and D. That lines the hook up with the fish as it sinks. How far the cast went is counted in meters. Catch fish you have not caught before, and a new character opens up.

Coins from the catch buy four upgrades. Strength makes the fisherman stronger. Weight makes the hook sink deeper. Rebound makes the hook bounce better. Resistance lets the hook hold more fish. Catch every fish in a row and that row unlocks a character. Progress stays in the browser.

Clear a row for a character

Catch every fish in a row. That row unlocks a new character. Fish you have not caught yet are what open the next one.

Spend the coins on four upgrades

A red throw stays short. A green throw is the one that reaches. Strength makes the fisherman stronger on top of that. Weight is what takes the hook deeper when the sink stops too soon. Rebound makes the hook bounce better. Resistance is for the cast that needs to hold more fish at once.

The coins on those four are the spend. Deeper water is where the fish you still need tend to sit, and a finished row is the unlock.

A full row unlocks the character

Catch new fish and a character unlocks. The list is rows. Every fish in that row has to be caught before the character on that row is yours. Leave a gap and that character stays locked.

On a computer, the throw is the left mouse button or Space. The reel is the mouse, or A and D. You do not need an account. The browser keeps the gear and the characters you already unlocked.
